So this morning starting at 5:30am there was a power outage affecting almost all of El Segundo. Of course I found this out as I exited the freeway at 8:30am. And due to the traffic light outage, a drive that normally takes 5 minutes turned into thirty. The power finally came back up at 9:45am, go Edison.
It never ceases to amaze me how much we are dependant on technology. Electricity, computers, etc… People cannot function without them. I admit I was caught off guard, no flashlight in my car, first aid kit totally ravished. Time to do some shopping.
