What they don’t mention is the data centers that were effected by this outage. Ours (http://www.ctlocation.com) went onto emergency power exactly as planned, other’s (http://www.alchemy.net) and the sites they support (http://www.myspace.com) are still offline.
Now, I cannot speak for other people, but if I just payed $600 million for a company and the facility went down I would not be happy.
Was is really that simple? One wire cut, and it shuts down most of the Los Angeles grid?
