REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. (AP) -- Business software company Oracle Corp. said Friday it bought Finland-based open-source software company Innobase OY Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Oracle shares fell 4 cents to $11.99 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. Innobase, founded in 1995, is the developer of a technology called InnoDB, which is distributed under an open-source license, Oracle said.
I think Oracle just figured out a way to slow down MySQL's growth on the market.

Level3 has finally gone and started depeering ISPs like they were threatening to do earlier. This is going to get out of control very quickly with a giant game of chicken about to evolve.
