Last night I spent money to purchase an Operating System (yes I bought Leopard). Not only did I buy Leopard but I have been purchasing software left and right both online and in stores. What is going on here? Not long ago the software I was looking for would have magically appeared in front of me - and now I find myself actively seeking out the proper place to purchase the applications I want.

I’m telling you - it’s a sign of getting old.

What good is having redundant circuits when the facility takes both offline for testing (a variant of having the redundant circuits plugged into the same device)? Sometimes there is just a basic association people just cannot make - I don’t understand it and never will.
